We are a warm and respectful family based in the UK with two lovely children aged 10 and 7. The children are independent for their ages, kind-natured, and used to a routine. They enjoy school, creative activities and relaxed downtime after a busy day.
Grandma also lives in the home and is a loving presence for the children, though she is not responsible for their daily care during these hours. The role is to provide consistent, reliable support around school drop-offs, collections, and after-school structure and supervision.
We are looking for someone dependable, nurturing and proactive who will become a steady, reassuring presence in their afternoons. Reliability and a genuine interest in supporting children’s wellbeing and development are important to us.
This is a short-term role while we prepare for maternity leave, and we are hoping to find someone who will provide stability and positive energy during this period.
My Requirements
? Part-Time After-School Nanny Needed (Temporary – 4 Months)
We are looking for a reliable, warm and responsible nanny to support with our two children (aged 10 and 7).
Days: 3 days per week (fixed days)
Duration: ASAP – approx 4 months
Hours:
• 30 minutes in the morning (school drop-off)
• School pick-up + 4 hours after school
Duties include:
• School drop-off and collection
• Light dinner preparation
• Supervision and structured activities
• Ensuring a safe and calm environment
Requirements:
• Enhanced DBS
• Previous childcare experience
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to commit for full 4 months
• References required
Competitive hourly rate depending on experience.
