About Me
I am Rachel, of Rachel’s Little Bunnies. I have a keen interest in helping children to learn through play and offer a home away from home setting, with a good sized space to play inside and outside.
I’m kind, caring and playful with children, and like to let them take the lead in their play and learning.
In my household there is me, my husband, my 3 year old son and our 12 year old Staffordshire bull terrier dog, Milo. During the day Milo tends to be in the kitchen, my husband tends to be at work and my son is at pre-school 3 days a week. But I am here ready to play and learn with children!
My Experience
I have my own son. I also worked at a nursery whilst I was younger, and brought up my baby brother who is 14 years younger than me. I did psychology at university and had a keen interest in children’s development.
My Qualifications
I’ve completed childminder training, which meets the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework.
I am trained in Paediatric first aid.
I am also trained in Prevent, FGM, safeguarding and food hygiene.
My Availability
Immediate space available on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8am-4.30pm
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
My fee is a day rate of £60 (8am-4.30pm) this includes wet wipes, sun cream and the occasional day trip.
Extra fees would include more expensive day trips (occasional and optional)
