Looking for a Kind, Reliable Extra Pair of Hands (Lightwater)

Our wonderful all-round family-helper-extraordinaire is relocating!

We’re now looking for someone kind, calm, and reliable to step into her shoes — helping care for our daughter and pitching in with light household tasks. We’re based in Lightwater, Surrey.

Our youngest daughter is 8. She’s adhd/asd and currently home educated via online school. We’re looking for someone patient, intuitive, and happy to adapt to her rhythm as we are take a low-demand and gentle care approach.

This isn’t a formal nanny role — it’s more of a daytime babysitter/companion/extra set of hands. Most of the time, one of us will be at home, so it’s about providing support, company, and a helping hand rather than sole charge.

Ideally, we need support on Mondays & Tuesdays between 11 - 6 and Fridays from around 8/9–5/6. There may be the possibility of occasional ad hoc hours during the week or evenings but only if that is agreeable.

Below is a non-exhaustive list of things to give an idea of what we may need;

- Meal prep/cook/bake
- Support with home learning and activities
- Light housework
- Tidying up - especially daughter's room - putting clothes/toys away


There is also the possibility of helping out with the below if you want to;
- Pet sitting when we are away
- Extra childcare in school holidays
- Evening babysitting

The boxes ticked below are just a 'guide' for when we may need someone - we can be a bit flexible.
