My Summary

My Experience

In addition to being a childminder I am also a mum of two primary aged children. Prior to having my own children I was a step parent first. I also manage an under 8s rugby team, which is a lot of fun! I have strong links with the local community and am up to date with the opportunities/experiences available for our children within it. I have experience in navigating the difficulties and achievements of neurodiverse children and navigating the systems in place to support children with additional learning needs. I have attended training in managing emotions and challenging behaviour through CAHMS. I pride myself in providing an inclusive and open minded service.

My Qualifications

I have achieved a CYPOP 5 qualification (understanding how to set up a home based childcare service), which was required for my registration with Care Inspectorate Wales. I also hold an up to date DBS, paediatric first aid certificate, safeguarding and food hygiene certificates.

My Availability

Monday to Friday 8.15 am to 5.15 pm term time. Not open bank Holidays. Reduced availability during school holidays.

My Fees

• Childminding from £6.50 per hour

I charge by the hour but cap my daily rate at £50 per day. For full time school children only, during term time I charge a reduced rate of £5 from school pick up until 4.15pm and a further £6 from 4.15pm until 5.15pm. Alterations and allowances are made where children are eligible for the 3 and 4 year old funded childcare offer.
