About Me
Hi everyone, I’m Cally, a warm, patient, and nurturing childcare professional with over 10 years’ experience working within council nurseries. I started as an Early Years Practitioner and later moved into a leadership role as an Early Years Officer, supporting both children and staff to create safe, inclusive, and happy learning environments.
I’ve mainly worked with children aged 2–5 years but have some experience with being an au pair and babysitting older children. I have lots of experience in supporting children with additional support needs.
I’m naturally calm, understanding, and gentle in my approach, and I really believe in meeting each child where they are, respecting their individual needs, personalities, and pace of development. Creating a safe, secure, and emotionally supportive environment is always my priority.
I became a mum myself in May last year, which has added a whole new level of empathy, patience, and understanding to the care I provide. Alongside my professional experience, I now bring very real motherly instincts and a deeper appreciation of the trust it takes to leave your child in someone else’s care.
I am seeking a warm, understanding family who would be happy for me to bring my little boy with me, as I believe this can offer lovely opportunities for little ones — encouraging gentle social interaction and modelling caring relationships in a natural way.
My Experience
I have over 10 years child care experience and have an extensive amount of experience in working with children aged 2-5 years although have experience with babies and children up to 10 years old. I have lots of experience in supporting children with additional support needs, these include- autism, ADHD, global delay and challenging behaviour.

My Availability
Ideally, I’m looking to work Monday-Thursday (around 9am–5/6pm but I am open to discuss days and timings depending on your families needs. I’m reliable, easy-going, and value open communication with parents so we can work together to support your child’s routine, development, and wellbeing. I’d love to find a kind, relaxed family where I can offer consistent, loving care and become a trusted part of your child’s world.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
My standard rate starts from £20 per hour and reflects my 10+ years of childcare experience, including supporting children with additional needs and working as an Early Years Officer.
Rates may vary depending on the number of children, responsibilities, and travel time. I’m happy to have a chat about your family’s needs to find a fair and flexible arrangement that works for everyone.
