My Experience

I am a patient, reliable and loving nanny with a strong background in caring for children from the newborn stage to 10+ years old. With my main focus being on the first few years of life, I have gained experience with newborns and infants, including twins, and postnatal support, and I am confident in both sole charge and shared care roles. I strive to adapt easily to a families individual needs, and pride myself in creating a supportive, nurturing environment where children can thrive.

I have been nannying for over two years and my duties have consisted of caring for children, cooking them healthy balanced meals (alongside batch cooking), household laundry, bed and bath times, taking children out to various classes, play dates, wrap-around care. I love to explore with children and include them in day-to-day activities, helping to give them a well-rounded understanding of the world while encouraging independence and confidence.

Prior to nannying, I worked in a variety of childcare and educational settings, including teaching children in a performing arts school, assisting a foster carer with multiple young children, and working as a maths mentor in my sixth form. Throughout these roles I developed the foundational skills needed to support children of different ages and backgrounds, build trusting relationships with both children and parents, adapt to individual needs and create engaging, structured activities that support both learning and development.

I’m am always to work extra hours for families when needed, including evening babysitting, overnights and proxy parenting when parents are away or needing a little extra sleep at night! I’m also available if you want help on family holidays or work trips as I’m well experienced in that area too!
