My Requirements

Hi there,

From June 2026 we will be looking for someone to help with our children and in the house. Would also consider someone from February!

In June we will have a 1 year old girl and a nearly 3 year old girl. I have the mornings with the girls but work from home in the afternoons, so I am around as is my husband, but we need someone to look after both girls. The grandparents do 1 afternoon each, so you wouldn't be expected to take them out for long activities on your own.

Ideally we would be looking for someone to work 12.30-6.30pm Monday- Thursday and during the girls lunchtime nap do the cleaning, which will be around 2 hours per day (circa 1-3pm). We currently have mothers help and this works well, but she is going on maternity leave in June.

We would also like this person to do ad-hoc weekend work, which would be agreed in advance, maybe 4-5 times a year for a day or afternoon/ evening.

Hoping to find someone long term who is very caring, loving, reliable and fun. You don't need to be a qualified nanny but childcare experience in required. We will do full safer recruitment checks including reference checks from previous employers, work history and DBS.
