About Me

My husband Alex, my daughter Maia and I live in Bethnal Green. I’ll be returning to my job as a secondary school teacher in Hackney at the end of October, when Maia will be just under a year old.

My Requirements

Registered Childminder

I’m looking for childcare for Maia for 2 or 3 days a week (tbc in a few weeks when my return to work plans are finalised), between roughly 8.30 and 5.30. Preferably term time only but willing to negotiate around school holidays.

A great childminder

My daughter has been going to Shaheda since October 2024 when she was just under 1. She settled in quickly and ever since then has had a huge smile both when I drop her off and pick her up! I think she has enjoyed having several other children to play with and now mentions the friends she has seen when I pick her up. Shaheda takes the children on lots of outings to playgrounds, the city farm and the Young V&A Museum and my daughter has learned lots of new skills over her time there. But most important is that she always seems really happy at the end of the day and I am certain she receives lots of love and care.
