About Me

My name is Lydia and I run a beautiful home-from-home childcare setting in Loundsley Green called "From the Nest - Childminding Services". I live with my husband, 23 month old little boy and cat! I am open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-5pm and currently have places available for a January 2026 start! My Experience

I have over 8 years experience working in childcare and early years development, both in professional settings and play/youth groups and have worked in varying roles, working my way from apprentice then deputy manager of a nursery to running my very own setting!

My Qualifications

I have a level 3 qualification in children and young people's workforce, aswell as a range of further professional development qualifications and training including a level 2 in Makaton Signing!

My Availability

I am open 3 days a week (Mon, Tue, Thu) from 9am-5pm

My Fees

  • Childminding from £6.00 per hour

9am-5pm (Full Day Session) : £48
There is a voluntary consumeables fee of £10 per day for a morning snack, lunch and home cooked tea however families are able to opt out of this addional cost if they wish to provide meals themselves which makes it such an affordable option of families.
