My Experience

I'm a former Headteacher of a school for pupils with specific learning difficulties, I have over 25 years of developing and enabling pupils at KS2/3 and KS4 to reach their full potential. I have succeeded in creating and managing an uplifting learning environment. This is the basis upon which pupils can relax and excel. I am currently working 1:1 with a range of pupils who are not suited to a mainstream setting. Poor working memory, auditory processing difficulties as well as social and emotional needs are all barriers my pupils contend with daily. I possess the essential ingredient of a good sense of humour (although not according to my kids) and believe integrity is the key to success. I am a high quality, reliable teaching resource with excellent inter-personal qualities and high professional standards, with a genuinely flexible approach to teaching. I have a wealth of experience working with pupils with anxiety about their learning and the school setting following Covid19, finding it difficult to engage in mainstream education.
