About Me

Hi my name is Candy, I’m 22 years old living in Birmingham but happy to travel.I have a passion for working with children! I’m a dependable and fun,loving babysitter with over 3 years of experience in support work with children in care and mental health. I’ve worked with ages 1 to 18 in both family and professional settings, including children with autism. My support work background has helped me become patient, adaptable, and attentive to each child’s unique needs. I also have experience with first-time parents and understand how nerve wracking it can be to leave your child with someone new. To help ease that transition, I offer extra introductions, regular updates, video calls, and can stay on camera during visits to relieve any anxieties. I love the playful, imaginative energy kids bring and enjoy helping them learn, grow, and feel safe. Whether it’s crafts, games, homework help, or being a steady presence, I bring warmth and structure. I also help with meal prep, tidying, and creating a calm, positive environment. I am rooted in the gentle parenting approach and I’m comfortable with background checks or videos calls before hand. Families say I bring a calming presence, a natural connection, and go the extra mile whether for longterm live in stays or occasional sitting. I am open to traveling to London & Manchester too for a full time role if needed.
