Hello, I’m Megan. I’m a mother to a nearly 4 year old, George. I am a primary teacher of 7 years, specialising in Early years and early child development. I am looking to spend more time with my own family, but still working with young children as it’s my passion.
My Experience
I have been a primary school teacher for 7 nearly 8 years, teaching in early years.
I used to nanny in Australia to 3 children under 7, one newborn. While I was training to be a teacher I have worked in nursery’s with a range of young children from the baby room to preschool. I have my own son so have experience first hand of caring for a newborn. I am currently undergoing breastfeeding training. I have completed paediatric first aid, safeguarding training along with prevent training as part of my teaching career. I am passionate about early childhood and the importance of a solid foundation of nurture and care in the first 5 years of a child’s life.
My Qualifications
PGCE with an early years specialism
Paediatric First aid (need to refresh my certificate)
Early years professional status
Breastfeeding support (ongoing)
Prevent
Safeguarding level 3
BA Hons in early child development
My Availability

No evenings, late nights or weekends.

- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
