About Me
Hi, my name is Jo, I am an OFSTED registered childminder, and I live in Wyman's Brook in Cheltenham, I live with my husband, my two children, we have a few pets too, two springers called Bertie and Ernie, two cats called Charlie and smudge, a rabbit, and a tank of fish.
There is plenty of room to play both indoors and outdoors, we have sand, water, slide and see-saw outside and a well stocked playroom for children to choose from. There is lots of opportunity for role play, small world play, construction, and messy play.
I enjoy taking children to local childminding groups, and to soft play, garden centres, and we enjoy lots of days out during the holidays, with other childminders.
I live locally to Mary Godwin and Swindon Village early years playgroups, and can accept the Nursery Education Grant, and also accept most forms of childcare vouchers.
My Experience
I have been childminding 15 years, I left my previous job as a busy assistant Administration manager in a large retail chain, to look after my own children and decided to work with children as I enjoyed sharing their learning, and creating fun experiences, so I registered as a childminder and have not looked back, despite always thinking once my children were in school I would return to work, they are now year 10 and 13 and I enjoy running my own childminding business too much.
My Qualifications
I hold a level 3 qualification in Childminding Practice, a current Early Years First Aid qualification, Safeguarding children, Food Hygiene and many more, all certificates are available for you to see. I am C.R.B. checked.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.30 although these can be discussed if needed.
I am available 48 weeks of the year, at present my holidays are taken in school holidays.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.40 per hour
Hourly/Daily rates are available, we can discuss this when you call.
I do not charge when I am unavailable to work, eg on holiday or poorly, and I will work with you to try and help find any cover needed on these occaisions, but there is the full fee to pay when you take holidays or are poorly
