About Me
I grew up in a small German town and was raised by Portuguese parents, that emigrated to Germany in the 70‘s. I‘m the youngest of three kids and growing up with them really formed my into the person I am now. In my free time, I enjoy being creative, like making collages, necklaces, journaling or painting silly paintings with friends. Music and film are a huge part of my life and I somehow always find myself on ticketmaster, waiting in queues to get tickets for my favourite artists.
As a nanny, I find it very important, to support little ones in their daily life, to create a loving and caring environment and to raise independent children where they can explore and learn by doing. I enjoy seeing them evolve and grow into their own little person!
My Experience
- voluntary year in my local nursery at age 17
- 5-year apprenticeship to become an educator where I worked with children aged 2-8 (nursery, primary school) and did a summer job at a school for underdeveloped children (aged 9-13).
- for three years, I worked in an institution for disabled adults
- moved to London in 2024 and worked as an Au Pair in Kensal Rise (10 months)
- I‘ve been working as a nanny since September 2021 with children aged between 12 months and 9 years.
My Qualifications
I finished my apprenticeship as an educator in Germany in 2020 (2019-2020). I‘m qualified to work with babies and children of all age, teenagers and disabled people.
My Availability
I can start in September, full time or two full days, three half days.
