Louise
Childminder in Edinburgh
My Summary
About Me
Hello I'm Louise! I live in the Bonaly area with my husband and two children, aged 8 and 11. I have been childminding since August 2024.
My Experience
I'm a fully qualified teacher with over 14 years experience. This has provided me with a wealth of experience in supporting children both academically and emotionally. I decided to change careers to childminding in order to use my skills effectively with a smaller group of children, as well as spend more time with my own family. I provide a warm, nurturing and safe home where each child is welcomed and treated as an individual. I can offer varied play activities that respect children's interests and stage of development, as well as planning regular outings in the beautiful area where I live (e.g. Spylaw park, the Pentlands and Dreghorn woods).
My Qualifications
PGDE in Primary Teaching Education, Strathclyde University
MA (hons) in Psychology, Edinburgh University

Child Protection Training
Food Hygiene
