About Me
We’re looking for a personal assistant to support our 6-year-old son, who has SEN.
He’s autistic, full of smiles, and just generally a lovely little boy to be around. He’s looking for someone kind, playful and reliable – basically a fun friend to hang out with!
He loves being out and about – fairs, parks, swimming, trampolining and walks are some of his favourites. He’s not verbal, but he communicates using PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System). We don’t usually have any behaviour challenges – he’s got a gentle nature and a happy personality.
The role:
£13.25 an hour
Up to 15 hours a week
After school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3.30pm
Flexible hours available at weekends and during school holidays if it works for you
Experience with children with additional needs is helpful, but not essential
Familiarity with PECS would be great, but we can show you how it works
DBS check required
Applicants must have a driving licence please.
