Adelina
Nanny in Liverpool (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
I am a caring, patient and reliable person who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and helping them feel safe, happy and comfortable. I have a calm and understanding nature and enjoy getting to know each child individually, including their personality, interests, routines and needs.
I am responsible, organised and attentive, but I also love getting involved with children through play, activities and everyday routines. I understand how important it is for parents to feel completely comfortable with the person looking after their children, so being dependable, respectful and trustworthy is very important to me.
I currently work full-time within a children’s care setting, but I am also available for occasional childcare alongside my permanent role. I would be happy to support families who need babysitting, evening or weekend childcare, or occasional/ad-hoc help when needed. I am open to discussing availability with families to see what works around my existing work schedule.
I would love the opportunity to get to know local families and become someone both parents and children feel comfortable and confident with.
My Experience
I have professional experience working in a children’s care setting, where I support children with a range of individual needs, including children with learning and physical disabilities and complex health needs.
My experience involves providing attentive day-to-day care, supporting children with their individual routines and promoting their safety, comfort, wellbeing and independence. I am used to working responsibly and remaining calm and attentive, particularly when caring for children who require additional support.
I also have experience completing detailed care notes, regular observations, risk assessments and incident documentation. This has given me a strong understanding of safeguarding, maintaining professional standards and recognising the importance of communicating clearly about a child’s care and wellbeing.
I hold a full DBS check and have completed training in safeguarding, basic first aid, medication administration and manual handling. I am comfortable following individual care plans and routines and understand that every child and family has different needs and preferences.
My professional experience has taught me to be patient, compassionate, observant and adaptable. I would bring the same level of care and responsibility to nannying and babysitting, while also making sure children have someone friendly and approachable who they can feel comfortable with and enjoy spending time with.
My Qualifications
I have a range of qualifications and professional training that support my experience working with and caring for children:
* Enhanced DBS Check – I hold a full Enhanced DBS Check and am registered with the DBS Update Service.
* Children’s Safeguarding Training – I have completed safeguarding training and understand my responsibility to protect children, recognise potential signs of harm or neglect and report any concerns appropriately.
* Children’s Learning and Development Degree – My studies have developed my understanding of children’s learning, development and wellbeing, alongside the practical experience I have gained working directly with children.
* Basic First Aid Training – I have completed first aid training, giving me the knowledge and confidence to respond appropriately if a child becomes unwell or is injured.
* Medication Administration Training – Through my professional childcare experience, I have completed training in the safe administration of medication.
* Manual Handling Training – I have completed manual handling training, which is particularly relevant to my experience supporting children with physical disabilities and additional care needs.
Alongside my qualifications and training, I have professional experience supporting children with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex needs. This combination of practical experience and training has helped me develop a safe, patient and individualised approach to caring for children.
My Availability
I currently work full-time on a rota basis and receive my work schedule approximately one month in advance, which allows me to plan my childcare availability ahead of time.
I am available for occasional and flexible childcare during the week around my existing shifts, including daytime and evening work depending on my rota. I can also offer occasional weekend availability when needed.
As I receive my rota monthly, I am able to give families plenty of notice about the days and times I am available. I am happy to discuss dates in advance and work around a family’s needs where possible.
Alongside childcare, I am also happy to help with light household duties such as tidying, cleaning, laundry and keeping children’s areas organised. I am particularly open to babysitting, occasional childcare and providing extra support for families around work, appointments, events or other commitments.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

Addy looked after my son (6) last night, he thought she was fantastic. She arrived on time. I just asked Charlie how the sitter was and he said I rate her 5 stars 🤣🤣
