Hello,
I am a 30-year-old mum working part-time and self-employed with my partner who works as a lecturer at our local college. We live in Canterbury CT1 and have a beautiful little boy. We love being outside, going on hikes, and seaside walks, always at the park or in the garden. We go to the woods on trails weekly, we adopt a Waldorf Steiner method with our son when we are outdoors and a more Montessori style on rainy days and when we are indoors. We love nature, art, history, fantasy fiction (our little man loves the Hobbit especially), animals, and music.
My Requirements
We are looking for a part-time childminder in or around the CT1 area who is available term time only either 2 full days or 3 half days a week starting from September 2025 of up to 16 hours per week with Universal 3-year-old 15 hours funding. We are conscientious and responsive parents and are looking for a childminder of the same or similar values in looking after our son. He has HMS (Hypermobility Syndrome), he is also currently under assessment for ASD (although not severe signs) and will be 3 yrs in July 2025 and is still struggling to run/jump and fatigue is very common, so we are looking for someone who can accommodate his extra needs and reassurance consistently. We would preferably be looking for someone who offers similar environments to what I have mentioned in my about me section if possible.
