My Requirements

We are looking for a longterm (ideally Ofsted registered) nanny to join our (boy-sterous) family of four; two active boys aged 5 and 3, and happy to stay with us for 2-3 years. The fourth member is the husband so no dog-walking required !

The majority of care will be with my 3 year old son who has chronic constipation. He requires laxatives which we are slowly weaning down. His water intake and diet needs to be optimised. All milestones are reached and he is potty-trained. His interests include reading, singing, and tinkering with anything he can get his hands on.

My eldest son, who is 5, goes to school and would require dropping off/collection, and care when he’s off sick and on holiday. His interests include drawing, crafts and reading.

Both boys are obsessed with trains.

Other childcare - related duties would include some light cooking and washing up, age-dependent educational needs, bath/shower, tidying up toys/messy play, and putting to bed for naps for the youngest. Driving license and own car desirable for ferrying sprog(s) to activities. An understanding/experience of child psychology / special needs children would be also be preferable to aid the boys’ emotional development.

Hours requested are 7.30-5pm or 5.30 (9.5 or 10 hours per day). We are looking for two days initially (Thursdays and Fridays) which may progress to three days (Wednesdays) later on though not sure if/when this will happen.

We live in the west part of Bath which is easily accessible via the M4
