My Experience

Looking for babysitting, part-time or events work in Truro area. I am not a registered childminder.

I have over 4 years of childcare experience as a team leader at a summer school for 12 to 18 year olds, a summer language au pair (4 children aged 9 months to 6 years), and part-time nanny for three families with children aged between 4 months and 5 years of age (including twins). My other experience includes babysitting, EAL tutoring, and as a classroom assistant in nurseries abroad.
First Aid and DBS certificates plus recent references available on request.

My Qualifications

Enhanced DBS dated early 2026. L3 Emergency First Aid at Work qualification from July 2026, paediatric first aid course completed abroad in late 2024. Various courses completed on multilingual children’s learning, outdoor play, safeguarding and water safety (details provided at request).
Fluent English and Spanish, intermediate Portuguese.
Bachelor’s degree.

I’m happy to discuss the needs of your family but will be unavailable from the 15th September.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)

£13/hr with an additional £1/hr per additional child. Reduced rates for overnight babysitting.
