About Me
I live in Gateshead and have a 9 year old son with special needs, and a 4 year old daughter.
My Requirements
I am looking for someone to look after my son on a 1:1 basis for a few hours on a weekend. I am very flexible with dates and times, but it would ideally be around 5 hours every other Sunday afternoon (with the possibility of extra hours in the school holidays).
My son is 9, and has additional needs so he needs a little bit more support. He likes to be kept busy, so someone who has a car and can take him out e.g. to soft play or to the cinema. I will reimburse mileage.
Experience with children with special needs would be helpful but not essential. The most important thing is a willingness to learn about what works for my son, enthusiasm and plenty of energy!

Megan collects my son from school a few times per week. She is very adaptable to his needs and isn’t phased by his quirks. She seems to genuinely enjoy spending time with him, and my son has a great time with her.
