About Me

Childminder with Early Years Teacher status.
I have always shown a passion and drive to work with children. I have gained experience working with children from babies up to the age 11. I have my own children and come from a large family. I gained my early years honours degree in July 2013 and then went on to complete my Early Years Teacher status in February 2014. I love to be outside and I always try to incorporate the natural resources around me in my teaching and play activities.

My Experience

I started my experience as a student over 17 years ago aa a nursery practitioner, I then went onto become a room leader, third in charge, deputy manager and SENCO.

I have a current pediatric first aid and enhanced DBS with the update service.
I have experience working with children with additional needs as a SENCO for the nursery.

My Qualifications

Early years Teacher status.
Promoting positive behaviour, e-safety, child protection, Advanced safeguarding and designated lead,mental health awareness, level 2 children and young people's mental health, understanding autism, safer recruitment in education. SENCO training, Allergy and anaphylaxis. Food hygiene and safety, safer sleeping.

My Availability

I currently have Mondays and Wednesdays all day available. In August/September 2026 I will have Monday to Thursday available.
