My Requirements

We’re looking for childcare for a minimum of four days per week, ideally covering around 7:30am to 6:00pm. We’re open to care either in our home or at a provider’s setting, depending on location and fit. Proximity is important — ideally within walking distance or a short 5–10 minute drive from Royston town centre, as we both commute and need to factor in travel to and from the station. We also need access to Tax Free Childcare and the government-funded hours.

Our little one currently attends nursery and is perfectly happy there, but we feel she would benefit from a different kind of setting — something smaller, calmer, and more outdoors-focused. We’d like her to spend time with other children, playing, learning, and interacting throughout the day, rather than being by herself. We’re not looking for a large nursery environment, but rather a space where she can have more consistent care and plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and exploration.

Our daughter is 18 months old — a happy, curious, and content little one who’s walking confidently, babbling away, and loves exploring new things. She enjoys reading, playtime, and currently naps once a day.

We’re really looking for someone who can provide a warm, stimulating, and supportive environment that helps her continue to thrive.
