About Me
I am a 19 year old individual who has 3 years of experience in a Nursery. Furthermore, I have specialised in child care almost my whole life as my mother is a Nursery manager, therefore I acquire the knowledge while working with her. I am also a university student who is currently studying a Law Degree, however, it is my summer break at the moment. Moreover, I have younger siblings that is 5 years old that I babysit from time to time, which helps me acquire the knowledge and skills of supervising children and fulfilling their needs.
My Experience
My experience as someone who has work experience in a Nursery for 3 years (Stanmore Park Nursery Centre), has a lot of responsibilities that I enjoy doing as I am passionate working with children. My experience included conducting activities such as Circle time, where children sit together and sing a song, read a story and discussing their morning routine e.g what they had for breakfast. However, I believe maintaining a safe and clean environment was a top priority for me. After the children had finished outdoor play for snack time, I make sure they wash their hands as this is essential. Updating parents of their child’s development was also an important part. I updated parents on their child’s progress through informal chats before they pick up their children, to support their children in ways that can help them progress more.
Working in a nursery had its challenges, nevertheless it is a fantastic experience that will help me in the future with future children.

My Availability
Unfortunately Fridays are the days I am not able to work. Preferably daytime is better.
