About Me

I offer babysitting/childcare in your own home.
I have a DBS check, am first-aid trained and have my own car.
I love spending time with children and understand the importance of treating them with kindness and respect.

My Experience

I currently work as a counsellor with young people (aged 9+).
I am a mother to 2 grown-up children. I have experience of autism and ADHD in my family.
I worked in a school for deaf children for many years as a communicator and learning support assistant, with both primary and secondary age children. I am able to communicate fluently in British Sign Language and have experience working with children who are neurodivergent.

British Sign Language Level 6 NVQ
Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
Level 5 Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People

My Availability

My current regular availability is: Wednesday and Thursday mornings, Friday afternoons. Please feel free to enquire about ad hoc availability, including evenings and weekends.
In the school holidays I am available all day on Tuesdays (and usually all day on Mondays too).
