About Me
Hello! My name is Hashana and I am a registered childminder. I offer care from my cosy, inviting home in Edgware. I provide an environment of high quality learning experiences and care for children with play, learning, communication and fun at the heart of my service. I include every child’s needs, interests and learning styles in my planning. I ensure every child is valued, heard and respected.
I go out with the children every day, usually twice a day, outdoor and indoor places such as parks and playgroups. I plan and prepare purposeful, creative, fun and educational activities for the children to do at home which enable effective learning and exploring.
I have two of my own children aged 5 and 4. Therefore, your child will have friends to play with! I provide meals and snacks and I am very flexible with hours and days of care.
My Experience
I am a qualified primary school teacher and have taught a range of years including Years 1, 3 and 4. This included children with SEN. I also have experience of support work for the elderly and people with health conditions and impairments. Furthermore, I have trained with a childminding agency as an EYFS practitioner in the social and educational development of 0-5 year old. In addition, I am a mother.

BA in Sociology
Postgraduate Certificate in Education

£9.00 per hour if all snacks and meals included

We honestly couldn’t ask for a better childminder than Hashana. My daughter absolutely loves going to her — she always has so much fun and gets to do activities she wouldn’t usually do at home. From crafts to outdoor play, every day is an adventure for her!
Hashana’s home is always clean, safe, and welcoming, and it gives me real peace of mind knowing my daughter is being looked after in such a lovely environment. Hashana herself is kind, flexible, and incredibly understanding. We truly would be lost without her.
She’s become more than just a childminder — we consider her a friend. My daughter lights up whenever she sees her, even outside of childminding hours, and always runs over excitedly to say hi and play with her boys. That says it all, really.

The kids always have always had a brilliant time at Hashana’s house. I’m always surprised by the activities she sets up for the kids to do. They always foster the children’s curiosity, they use different skills and they allow lots of ways for children to express themselves and be creative. The kids definitely learn a lot from her and they love her. She treats them really well.
