My Requirements

Hello! Thankyou for reading this!! We’re looking for a lovely, experienced and highly capable nanny to join our family 2 or 3 afternoons per week —, approximately 2:45pm–6:45/7pm.
We have four children (9, 6, 4 and 1) and live directly across the road from the school — around a 5-minute walk from our front door to the classroom door, so the school run is incredibly easy! We are super easy going, love people, friendly and look forward to getting to know you! Our kids are polite, well mannered and we are strict with them, they dont muck around and give people a hard time so I would absolutely ensure that whilst 4 kids sounds like a lot I want someone who truely loves and is excited to be with them so its my job to ensure that these kids are lovely wee kids to be around. They are super chatty and affectionate and I love being with them but I now work for a USA firm and my hours have changed.

The role would mainly involve helping with the busy after-school period — school/nursery pick-ups, park trips/activities, helping with dinner and generally keeping everything running smoothly.
I work from home and the nature of my work is very variable — some afternoons I’ll be tucked away in my office for most of the time, while others I might be kicking about the house for a couple of hours doing laundry or getting things organised.

There is no cleaning involved — we have a cleaner. There would just be the normal light, child-related jobs that come with looking after them, such as wiping the table after meals, encouraging/helping them to keep their rooms tidy and putting away their laundry.
We’re looking for someone who is experienced, confident, reliable and proactive, and comfortable with children of different ages.

Driving would be great!

Ideally you’ll have previous nanny/childcare experience and references.
We’re a relaxed, friendly family and would love to find someone who can become a trusted part of our week long-term.
