My Experience

I have been a 1:1 learning support assistant in a mainstream primary school for just over 3 years. Over the 3 years I have worked with parents and teachers to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children aged 4-9 through child-led play and fun activities!
After my first year of being there a child that I was supporting was leaving to attend a specialist school; before leaving her parents asked if I would be available to help support the child at home as we had built up a beautiful rapport based on trust and understanding in school. As a result, I visited the child at home 3 times a week, helping with personal care, meal times, setting up of fun and engaging activities and helping to tidy up at the end of the day.
I am currently training to become a speech and language therapist.

BSc Psychology
First Aid
MSc Speech and Language Therapy (currently studying - not yet achieved)

My Availability

My availability varies due to my course demands, however I fully understand the importance of structure and reliability when it comes to children. If needed we could arrange set times each week depending on when needed.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

Dependent on responsibilities, not the needs of the child.
