About Me
Hi! We’re a family of three based near Cannon Hill Common, looking for a kind nanny to help care for our son, Julian.
Julian is 5 and has just started reception at Blossom House School, only a 5-minute drive from home. He’s a gentle, curious, and playful little boy who loves being active, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with people who take the time to connect with him.
Julian is autistic and benefits from some extra support with communication, so patience and kindness are especially important qualities for us in a nanny. Most of all, we’re looking for someone who can help him feel confident, cared for, and encouraged to enjoy the world around him.
We both work hybrid schedules and are usually at home a couple of days each week, with offices upstairs. That leaves the ground floor and garden free for play and activities. We’d love to find a nanny who can also make the most of our memberships at Wisley Gardens, Hobbledown, and the National Trust—some of Julian’s favorite places to explore.
My Requirements
A typical afternoon with Julian begins with school pick-up at 3pm (12pm on Fridays), followed by active and engaging playtime. He thrives on being outdoors after school — whether it’s a trip to the park or visiting one of his favorite places. After playtime, Julian comes home for dinner. We’d need support with preparing his meals and encouraging him while he eats. We finish work at 6pm, at which point we can take over.
We’re looking for someone with experience supporting children with special educational needs — someone patient, creative, and caring, who can help Julian finish his school days feeling happy, confident, and supported.
Additional support during school holidays, and occasionally in the evenings or at weekends, would be very welcome. We are also open to a 4-day-per-week arrangement during school term.
