My Experience

With over eight years’ experience working in a prestigious nursery in Altrincham, including three years as a Room Leader, I bring a wealth of hands-on childcare experience, leadership skills, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s development in a nurturing home environment.



Throughout my career, I have cared for children across a range of ages, planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play. As a Room Leader, I was responsible not only for the day-to-day care and education of the children, but also for leading a team, liaising closely with parents, managing observations and development tracking, and ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding and wellbeing. This role strengthened my organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills, while reinforcing the importance of building trusting relationships with both children and families.



I pride myself on creating a warm, structured environment where children feel safe, confident, and encouraged to explore. I am calm under pressure, proactive in anticipating children’s needs, and passionate about supporting their emotional, social, and educational development. My extensive experience means I am confident managing routines, preparing healthy meals, supporting early learning, and adapting to each child’s individual personality and needs.
