Heya! I’m a friendly, creative and calm person with an art degree and a genuine love for working with children. I’m currently training as an art therapist, which has deepened my interest in how creativity, play and self-expression help children grow in confidence and feel good about themselves.
I spend a lot of my free time making things, exploring nature, visiting galleries, reading, or getting stuck into a new project just because it sounds interesting. I love bringing that same sense of curiosity and fun into my work with children, whether that’s through arts and crafts, imaginative play, baking, outdoor adventures or simply following their interests and seeing where they lead.
My aim is always to create a warm, supportive and engaging environment where children feel safe, valued and free to be themselves.
My Experience
I have over four years of experience working with children across a range of settings. I worked as a swimming teacher for four years, teaching children aged 3–9, and have babysat children aged 2–12 for the past three years.
I also spent a summer working in a Montessori nursery with children from 6 months old, and worked as a one-to-one support assistant in a primary school supporting a child with additional needs.
These experiences have helped me develop a calm, creative and adaptable approach, and I genuinely enjoy helping children learn, grow and have fun.
My Qualifications
I am DBS checked, am a level 2 qualified swimming teacher and hold high a levels and foundation degree in arts
My Availability
I am available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday with flexibility to help on weekends.
My Fees
- Nannying from £14.50 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
I typically charge 14-16 an hour depending on the situation but this is flexible and negotiable
