My name is Rachel Jacobs. I am 39 years old and have lived on Sherfield Park for 7 years now, but I’m originally from Surrey.
I am a reliable, outgoing, trustworthy, caring and creative person who loves working with children :-)
I am a mother of 2 lovely boys, a 13 year old and a 7 year old, my youngest attends Fourlanes Infant school.

My Experience
- I have over 20+ years of childcare experience.
- Nanny and Nursery Nurse experiences.
- As a mummy I now have more experience with babies, younger children and older children.
- For the past 3.5 years I’ve been looking after a little girl who is now 4 years old, Mon-Thursday, but she will be starting school in September 2024.
- Before that I helped look after a little boy aged 2, on a Monday for a year on Sherfield Park, he then started school and I was no longer needed.
- For nearly 2 years, I nannied for 2 brothers in Vyne Park aged 4 and 5, helping with before and after school care, and school holiday care.
- 2 years special needs experience, looking after a baby who was tube fed.
- I have done lots of babysitting over the years.
- I feel I have both professional and motherly experiences and approaches when it comes to looking after little ones.
My Qualifications
- Diploma in Childcare and Education. 2001-2003.
- Ofsted registered until Jan 2017.
- I have been on many courses over the years to help me understand and learn more about Early Years Childcare.
- I have been on many first aid courses, and I am willing to go on more in the future if needed.
My Availability
*** For Nannying- 4 days a week maximum.
*** For Babysitting- Weekends during the day/evenings and during the week after 6.30pm.
