My name is Charlie, I am 24 years old living in kidmore end. I am calm and patient aswell as being fun and energetic, I have grown up around animals and riding horses so I love the outdoors and being active.
I am very passionate about my job as a nanny and simply love children and helping them learn and grow. I am responsible, reliable and caring as well as being very professional and providing exceptional care for Children of all ages and stages. With my experience your children will be in safe hands ensuring a positive, fun and stimulating environment.
My Experience
I have been working with children for 6 years now, having worked in a nursery setting for 2 years I have gained experience with a ratio of up to 8 children in a group using both adult led and child led activities, I have worked with a range of ages from 4 months old to 4 years and have had the responsibility of up to 8 key children.
I have had experience in a school setting running a after school club which included homework club and a range of activities and games. I have been a nanny for 3 years with a family with 3 boys ages from 5 months old to 6 years and 1 year nannying for a family with a little girl who has additional special needs from age 2-3. I have also managed and ran a singing and makaton signing class for children aged 1-4 years.
My Qualifications
I have English, Maths and Childcare GCSE, level 3 qualification/ diploma in children’s learning and teaching, paediatric first aid and food hygiene level 2. I have my DBS and safeguarding as well as a number of online certificates such as children’s mental health, children’s speech and language, outdoor provision in early years, British values and prevent.
