About Me
I am a Taiwanese single mother moving to London with my two cool daughters, who are primary school age (Year 3 and Year 4). I work full-time in healthcare as a part of professional training program lasting at least two years. I usually leave home early in the morning and return in the evening during workdays.
My children’s first language is not English; however, they have attended bilingual kindergarten and a Montessori-based experimental primary school in Taiwan, and they are able to communicate comfortably in English in daily situations. They are thoughtful, observant children who may take a little time to warm up to new people and environments. Because of this, we are looking for someone who is patient, calm, and enjoys gentle companionship.
I value clear communication, reliability, and mutual respect, and I truly believe that good childcare is built on trust and stability. I am hoping to find a nanny who would like to build a long-term working relationship with our family and support my children as they settle into life in the UK.
My Requirements
***This position is planned to start around September in 2026.
I am looking for full-time childcare support on a long-term basis (at least 2 years).
*Morning Care
07:00 – 08:45
Helping children get ready for school
Breakfast preparation
School drop-off (walking distance)
*Afternoon / Evening Care
15:15 – around 20:30–21:00
School pick-up
After-school care
Simple dinner preparation
Homework supervision
Supporting a calm evening routine until I return home
*Light housekeeping and household organisation during school hours
*Emergency school pick-ups (e.g. if child is unwell)
*What We Are Looking For
Experience caring for primary-aged children
Comfortable with school pick-up / drop-off
Calm, reliable, and nurturing personality
Able to commit long-term (minimum 1-2 years)
Happy to work independently and follow a clear routine
Ofsted registration is a plus but not essential
Flexible with occasional overnight need
