Hi there I'm Marie, I am 24 and from Edinburgh, living in Shawlands! I have experience in nannying and babysitting, and have just graduated this summer with a BSc (Hons) in STEM where I focussed on Environmental Science. Alongside studying, I have been a private nanny for two young boys, and am now looking for a full time position!
My Experience
Since last August, I have been a nanny for two boys aged 2 and 5 in Newton Mearns alongside studying towards my degree (approx. 25+ hours per week). I also do occasional babysitting for a family nearby in Shawlands whenever I can. Previously, whilst living in Edinburgh, I babysat my neighbour's child for about five years. I also have experience helping with the kids group at church. I would love to now find a full time position!
Other recent jobs have included 3 years in retail (at Flying Tiger and Clarks) and 1 year as a barista (Tinderbox). I also do occasional freelance sustainable events floristry!
My Qualifications
BSc (Hons) in STEM: Environmental Science (2:1 grade)
- The Open University
HND in Horticultural Biology (distinction)
- University of Glasgow, through the SRUC
TEFL certificate (English as a Foreign Language) Qualified TEFL/EFL teacher

My Availability
My availability is flexible throughout the week, although routine would be appreciated!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £17.00 per hour
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
My rates are £17 per hour
