My Requirements

Hi, I’m looking for a reliable and experienced childcare professional to provide flexible, occasional support for my 14-year-old son.

The role would mainly be weekend cover on an ad hoc basis, with some additional support during school holidays. I’m looking for someone calm, confident, and comfortable supporting a neurodiverse teenager (he has ADHD).

Responsibilities would include:

* Being a responsible adult in the home while I am out (usually daytimes on weekends)
* Light household support as and when needed
* Supporting my son with structure and boundaries when required
* Occasional transport to and from activities or events, particularly during school holidays

On some occasions I may be out of area for the day with limited mobile signal, so I need someone who is confident making sensible decisions and handling any issues if they arise.

This is a flexible role rather than set weekly hours, so I’m looking for someone dependable who is open to occasional, tailored support rather than a fixed routine position.

Experience with teenagers and ADHD or additional needs would be ideal. A driving licence is preferred for holiday support and transport.
