We are a friendly Indian - Irish family looking for a kind and energetic after-school nanny for our 12 year old girl & 9 year old boy who attend local schools in Wanstead (walking distance). Our kids get on very well (with the odd exception) and love playing together, reading, playing music and generally having fun.
We are looking for someone to collect them from school, share a hobby (we all love to learn new things), cook a healthy dinner (nothing especially elaborate or complicated!) supervise homework (listen to their reading, practice spellings etc) help keep their room tidy and get uniform and bags ready for the following day.
The hours are school pick up at 3.15pm and staying until 7.15pm and we are looking for someone 5 days a week for about 20 hours, with ad-hoc babysitting one evening on a regular basis which would increase the hours slightly.
Our eldest girl is starting Y8 in September and gets the bus, but you will collect our son either by walking. If the weather is really bad then you can also collect in the car. However having a car will be important for taking them to piano on Wednesdays (less than 10 minutes by car in the local area)
