We are a small family looking for a Nanny who can start immediately to look after our ~ 2 year old on Wednesdays and Fridays.
We are located near Queen’s Park (Bakerloo) / Kilburn (Jubilee) / Brondesbury (Mildmay) tube and overground stations.
We are looking for an experienced Nanny (with references from previous roles), who is compassionate, kind, and enjoys engaging with and creating age appropriate activities for toddlers (reading, singing, going to the park).
We are looking for a Nanny who will engage and play with our Child, only minimal use of a personal phone is appropriate in this role.
There are no other children or pets.
Hours: 2 Days a Week (Wednesday and Friday) from 9 am to 5.30 pm - i.e 17hrs per week.
Requirements:
- Full time experience looking after babies / children under 3 is a must
- A valid enhanced DBS check issued in the last year
- Non-smoking
- Proof of UK Right to Work status
- A valid paediatric first aid certificate
- Minimum 2 checkable references from previous roles with young children
- Fluency in English, Italian, French, or Finnish is required.
- OFSTED Registered is a plus.
Role:
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the Child at all times while in the Nanny’s care
- Creating activities for and playing with a ~ 2 year old Child, supporting their development
- Standard nursery duties (changing nappies)
- Some light meal preparation for the Child or feeding the Child with pre-prepared meals cooked by the family
- Cleaning after meals, play and nappy changes. No general housework.
- Driving is not required
- No travel required
Salary: £19 gross per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, taxed through Nannytax.
Standard pension contribution and paid holiday allowance.
