Our Summary
About Us
The Square Nursery School
A caring, nurturing, home-from-home nursery, The Square Nursery School welcomes up to 18 children aged 2 to 5 years. It is proudly located on Holland Park Avenue, between Holland Park and Notting Hill Gate stations.
Following an Ofsted inspection in June 2026, The Square Nursery School was delighted to have five areas judged Strong: Achievement; Behaviour, Attitudes & Routines; Children’s Welfare & Wellbeing; Curriculum & Teaching; and Leadership & Governance.
The Square Nursery School provides a warm, nurturing environment where children can feel happy, safe and secure. Its experienced, caring team takes the time to get to know each child as an individual, supporting their confidence, independence, and love of learning.
The Square Nursery School also benefits from a beautiful garden, giving children daily opportunities for outdoor play, exploration, and exercise, alongside hands-on experiences growing and caring for plants and crops.
Both full-day and part-time nursery places are available, with the nursery open from 8:45 am to 4:15 pm, Monday to Friday during term time.
Children’s interests are at the heart of the nursery’s planning, with a varied and engaging curriculum that includes Music & Movement, Mandarin, Drama, Cookery and regular outings within the local community.
Experiences are carefully planned in line with the EYFS and adapted to support each child’s individual age, interests and stage of development.
The Square Nursery School welcomes prospective families to visit, meet the team, and experience the nursery first-hand.
