My Requirements

We are looking for a kind, reliable nanny to help our family on a flexible, ad hoc basis. Ideally around 2 days per week, with the possibility of increasing hours once our newborn arrives in August.

We currently have a temporary nanny who may stay with us until April, so our search will begin around then. The role is ideally starting in August, though there may be the option to start earlier depending on when we find the right person.

You will mainly be helping me at home with our toddler and newborn.

Duties will include:

Toddler care
• Preparing simple, nutritious meals
• Playing and engaging in educational activities
• Lots of outdoor play
• Bath time
• Nappy changes
• Settling for naps

Newborn support
• Bottle feeding
• Washing bottles and pump parts
• Sterilising equipment
• Nappy changes

Light household help related to the children
• Light laundry (folding and putting away)
• Wiping down work surfaces
• Cleaning high chairs

You won’t be thrown in at the deep end — I’ll always make sure you’re familiar with our routines. Our toddler is very used to having a nanny around and really enjoys the interaction.

Pay: £15 per hour
Payment: Weekly or monthly — whichever you prefer.

This is a casual role, meaning you’ll have regular weekly work but without a formal contract, so please only apply if you’re happy with that arrangement.

We are happy to work around days that suit you where possible.
