About Me
My name is Yordanos, and I am your local Ofsted-qualified childminder. I have one child of my own who has just turned four. As a nurturing, patient, approachable, and reliable individual, I am dedicated to providing the highest quality care for young children.
Caring for children is my passion; they bring joy and energy into my life. I offer a variety of play opportunities within my home, including daily arts and crafts, cooking, role play, reading, messy play, gardening, and educational puzzles. Additionally, your child will benefit from visits to the local children’s centre for stay and play sessions, library story and singing times, and daily excursions to various parks.
I will assist with potty training, weaning, and maintaining your child's sleep patterns and daily routine. Meals, lunch will be home cooked, with healthy snacks (twice a day) will be provided.
My home is a bright and welcoming environment with ample outdoor space. I do not have pets and hold a full driving license, own a car, and possess a level 2 food safety certificate, full paediatric first aid certification, DBS check, and childminder certificate. I accept tax-free childcare and offer emergency babysitting services.
Services I Offer:
• Daily School Pick-Ups: I provide pick-up services directly from The Children Factory and Newington Green Primary School.
• After-School Care: Following pick-up, I offer a safe and fun environment for your child until you’re able to collect them.
• Flexible Hours: I am available for after-school care and can accommodate your schedule if you need additional care on certain days.
I understand that leaving your child in someone else's care can be challenging. Therefore, I am committed to making this transition as smooth and comfortable as possible for both you and your child.
My Experience
I have extensive experience in childcare, having spent over five years babysitting my niece and nephew, alongside being a mother to my own daughter. This hands-on experience has given me a deep understanding of children’s needs, routines, and behaviour, equipping me with the skills to provide a nurturing and structured environment for the children in my care.
My Qualifications
I have completed a Pre-Registered Childcare course, hold a Paediatric First Aid certification, and have a Level 2 Food Health and Safety qualification, ensuring that I can offer the highest standards of care and safety.”

I cannot recommend Yordanos enough. She is warm, friendly, energetic, fun and incredibly professional, and it is clear that she puts her whole heart into her work.
She has been looking after our little one for nine months now, and we feel so lucky to have found her. When we first started (I had to go back to work and felt anxious), our LO’s separation anxiety was at its peak, but Yordanos went above and beyond to help them settle in gently and confidently. Her patience, loving care and kindness made such a difference. She has a lovely playroom, everything is very clean and she prepares food for the LOs that smells and looks delicious!
Leaving your child with someone is never easy, but with Yordanos it genuinely feels like leaving them with family. I always know our LO is safe, super happy, cared for and in the very best hands. Yordanos is a wonderful childminder and we are so grateful for everything she does.

Yordanos has been looking after our baby since she was only nine months old. It was the first time we had ever had non family members look after her and we were so nervous but she really put our minds at ease. She creates a fun, safe and comforting environment and our daughter literally squeals with excitement every time we get to her front door. Yordanos communicates constantly and clearly so we feel very in the loop with our child's day and we couldn't recommend her more.

Our little boy is 18 months old and he was not enjoying one of the places he goes to for crèche so we pursued sending him to Yordanos
It was a fantastic decision because he absolutely loves going to her house and is clearly very happy there. He also loves playing with her daughter, which is great as he doesn’t have siblings
Yorda is extremely good with children, very warm and we are so amazed at all the amazing activities she manages to do with our baby. His confidence has grown as a result and we feel very happy knowing that he is being so well looked after.
Yorda sends great videos and photos regularly, which keeps us updated as to our son’s day and we also get updated all the time on his nap schedules, snacks and lunch etc.
We would highly recommend this childminder to anyone in the area and are so happy we found her.

As we all know looking for the right childminder is always difficult and hard. But I am so pleased and Happy I chose Yordanos and made the right choice. I had a connection with her first day we met and I saw how caring she was towards Maison. I knew then that she was the right person to care for my 1year old son. She communicates and updates me all the time about Maison. She has a lovely playarea and with outdoor space too. Even though Maison has only been there for over a month she sure has taught him alot of things that I sometimes don't and I'm very grateful for it. She treats him like his own which I know that Maison is in good care. Her daughter is so lovely that both of them have a bond with one another. She is definitely part of my family and would highly recommend her to anybody. Looking forward to all the adventure and learnings that my son will experience with her. Thank you very much for everything you have done so far.

It came to the time when I had to go back to work I was a little anxious and worried about leaving my daughter however I came across yordanos my local childminder I could not be more happy with her as she is such a caring and positive person and so professional at her job after spending some time meeting her and getting to know her my daughter and myself were extremely happy with her and my daughter was so excited to play in her house which is amazing my daughter loves the play room her garden is also a huge bonus! she is so welcoming and she made me and my daughter feel so comfortable I was a little worried at first but yordanos has reassured me every step of the way she kept in contact with me and updated me on all of my daughter progress. My daughter and I have built a bond and we always remain in contact . I Would definitely recommend yordanos to any parent you will not be disappointed. 😊

I feel I hit the jackpot finding the loveliest childminder for my 2 year old daughter, having a safe and trust worthy childminder was so important for me and yordanos is beyond my expectations. She creates fun and play for my daughter with great play room dedicated for playing and a great garden to explore sand play ,bike riding , yordanos takes my daughter to the local parks and libraries for sing and play and my daughter is always happy. I’m really grateful to yordanos for going above and beyond. Amazing facilities and care. Cant thank you enough.
