About Me

Hi I’m Amy and I am newly registered childminder with Ofsted, fully DBS checked and paediatric first aid trained.

I currently live in a 3 storey new build house in Whitwood, Castleford with my dog Molly.
I have a large room which I have been able to transform into a playroom to provide a safe, warm and friendly setting for the children to enjoy and thrive in.
My focus is to provide a stimulating environment whilst following the EYFS framework, providing fun filled activities that also builds a child’s confidence and independence.
I offer childcare from birth onwards and provide drop offs/ pick up from Ackton pastures school.

My Experience

I have spent the last 9 months training to become a childminder. I also have 15 years experience caring and looking after children for my friends and family.

My Qualifications

I have done most of my training from Childminding UK the courses I have completed are:
Introductory course to childminding.
Autism awareness
SenCo indicators
Good hygiene
Tigerlily peadiatric first aid
Wakefield council designated safeguard lead
Prevent duty
