About Me

Hello, I’m Amy, a registered childminder offering a warm, caring, and home-from-home environment where children can learn, play, and thrive.

I provide a variety of fun and engaging experiences, including outdoor adventures, local outings, sensory play, creative activities, and opportunities to build confidence, independence, and social skills. I follow the EYFS framework and tailor activities to each child’s individual interests and stage of development.

I share my home with Molly, my friendly and gentle dog, who is well accustomed to being around children and is a much-loved part of our setting.

Building strong partnerships with families is important to me, and I work closely with parents to ensure every child feels happy, safe, and supported.

I have spent the last 9 months training to become a childminder. I also have 15 years experience caring and looking after children for my friends and family.

My Qualifications

I have done most of my training from Childminding UK the courses I have completed are:
Introductory course to childminding.

Wakefield council designated safeguard lead
Prevent duty

My Availability

I am available Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 5pm. I currently have 3 vacancies available for September 2026 start due to employing an assistant.
