About Me

Hi there, my name is Brooklyn and I am originally from outside of Houston, Texas. While working on my sailboat captains license in the Caribbean, I met my now husband who is from the Cotswolds. We now live in Chertsey, Surrey. Before pursuing my captains license, I was a full time nanny for multiple families for over 7 years in the states. I lived in Texas, New Mexico and Colorado before moving to the UK. Sailing was a hobby for me, but childcare is my passion. I find true joy and fulfilment in participating in the upbringing of little ones and helping to support their parents where it is needed. My own personal nanny was a massive part of my childhood and I remember her as not only a care giver, but as a friend to me. That is what I want to add to your family. My favourite activities are hiking, crafting, painting, writing and reading, all of which I would love to share with your babies. I am looking for a full time or part time position. My ideal position would be within normal work day hours but am open to before/afterschool care for the right family. I have a lovely five year old cavapoo who loves children and other dogs. If you have a full time position available, I would ideally either like to bring him with me to work or I would need a bit of time during the day to run home to look after him.
