About Me
Hi there! I’m Sofia, 34 years old living in South Ockendon. I am originally from Sweden but have lived in the UK for nearly 14 years. I went to university here and am a qualified band 6 midwife which has been my passion in life! (My Nursing & Midwifery Pin will be given if you want to verify my registration).
I therefore have an abundance of experience with newborns up to 28 days including breastfeeding, artificially feeding (sterilising equipment, winding etc), newborn life support, safe sleeping and caring for a baby.
I’ve also worked as a nanny for a 1 year old.
I worked in a nursery for ages 1-6 as a nursery assistant for two years prior to university.
My other interests include arts and crafts (making jewellery in particular), Taylor Swift, gaming, food, nerdy things like Lego and travelling whenever I am able to!
My Experience
Newborn inc. breastfeeding, artificially feeding (winding, sterilising equipment etc), caring for a newborn.
Advanced newborn life support.
Also worked in a nursery ages 1-6 before university.
My Qualifications
Bachelor of Science: Midwifery 2017 from City University London.
My Availability
I am extremely flexible and available most days / nights as long as given a little bit of notice!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
Standard rate is £13/hour. Any time worked outside of the “regular” hours I charge an additional £1.50 an hour.

Sofia was taking care of my 1 year old daughter at my home for about 4 months. I can highly recommend Sofia, as she took a great care of my baby, fulfilling all her needs, like entertainment, nappy change, food, sleep, etc. Sofia was responsive to all extra requests and helped my family on several occasions. Sadly had to say goodbye to regular work with Sofia, as my circumstances has changed.
