My Experience

Growing up, I was actively involved in various activities that nurtured my love for working with children. As a young Beaver Leader, I developed leadership skills and a passion for organizing fun and educational activities. My experiences tutoring, helping with homework, and teaching dance to children allowed me to support and guide them in both academic and creative pursuits. I also spent many evenings babysitting and pet sitting, which further honed my ability to care for and engage with kids of all ages. I love cooking and often incorporated this into my time with the children, turning meal prep into a fun and interactive experience. Whether it's a dance routine, a board game, or a creative project, I'm always eager to ensure that kids have a great time while learning and growing.

My Qualifications

I hold a degree in Psychology with a focus on childcare and developmental psychology, giving me a strong understanding of children's behavior and development. Additionally, I have a DBS check and am certified in first aid, ensuring that I am well-equipped to provide a safe and supportive environment for children in my care. I have experience working as a supply teacher in schools during my time at university, with a focus on supporting children with special educational needs. This role allowed me to apply my psychology background in real-world settings, further enhancing my ability to cater to the diverse needs of children.
