My Experience

I have direct experience supporting children with autism, and I'm familiar with strategies to create a positive and inclusive environment for them. Furthermore, I'm proficient in British Sign Language (BSL) at Level 6, which allows me to effectively communicate with deaf children and adults. I'm confident in my ability to adapt my communication style to meet the needs of each child, ensuring they feel understood and supported. I have extensive experience working both individually (1:1) and in group settings within schools and community centers. This includes designing and delivering engaging activities, providing tailored support, and fostering positive interactions among children.

My Qualifications

My primary qualification is British Sign Language (BSL) Level 6, which is equivalent to a degree-level qualification. I completed Levels 1, 2, and 3 of BSL during my time in college, building a strong foundation for my current proficiency. In addition, I have completed a first aid course, and while I recognize the need to update and refresh this certification, I am committed to ensuring my skills are current and relevant.

My Availability

I am generally available anytime apart from evenings and some weekends, but I am happy to discuss specific scheduling needs to find a mutually convenient arrangement.
