Choosing Sonia as our childminder has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our son.

From the very beginning, my little boy settled in so well with Sonia and has absolutely adored her ever since. He genuinely looks forward to the days he’s with her, and on weekends he’ll often wake up asking if he’s going to see “Son Son” today! That alone says everything about the bond they’ve built.

One of the main reasons my partner and I chose Sonia was because of the amazing outings and adventures she plans for the children. As our son is very outgoing and loves exploring, this was incredibly important to us. Sonia provides so many opportunities for visual learning and fun through real-life experiences. They’ve visited country parks, farms, music sessions at the library, National Trust sites, playgroups, and enjoyed playdates with other childminders and their little ones. Every day is filled with something exciting and educational.

Sonia has also been fantastic with communication. We receive regular updates, photos, and details about everything they’ve been doing throughout the day. At pick-up, she always takes the time to discuss how the day has gone and anything we need to know, which has always given us great reassurance.

The impact Sonia has had on Cashel’s development has been incredible. His speech, confidence, social skills, and love of learning have all flourished under her care. She has such a wonderful way of understanding him and encouraging him to grow, and it really shows. We constantly receive compliments on how clearly he speaks and how confident he is.

As a first-time mum returning to full-time work, leaving my baby was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. But Sonia made that transition so much easier. From day one, she gave me complete peace of mind. Knowing how much she genuinely cares for kids and seeing the beautiful relationship my son built meant I never had to worry while I was at work.

I honestly couldn’t recommend Sonia more highly. Any family who chooses her will be incredibly lucky. My son talks non-stop about his “Son Son,” their adventures, and especially their car rides singing together. Those are memories he’ll treasure.

Thank you, Sonia, for everything you’ve done for him from when he was a baby right through to preschool. We will always be so grateful for the love, care, patience, and dedication you’ve shown our little boy. You’ve played such an important part in his early years, and we’ll never forget it.
