Helen
Nanny in London
My Summary
About Me
A very warm welcome to all parents and carers, and thank you for stopping by.
I am a bubbly, patient and devoted child educator, with a positive and professional attitude.
I have a profound understanding of children's physical, social, intellectual and emotional development. I am passionate about making the difference in the lives of children in my care
while ensuring they are safe, happy and content. I
teach them to be kind, honest, nice to each other and treat everyone with respect.
Our children are our most valuable assets, hence the safety of your child is one of my most important priorities. I possess the in-depth knowledge of the Safety and Safeguarding of children, signs of abuse, neglect and bullying; I have attended various trainings to expand my skills set and keep learning daily.
My 17 years background in Corporate Sales in London hotels and luxury serviced apartments enables me to communicate and connect with children of different ages and backgrounds and create long-lasting positive relationships with them and their parents.
My Experience
8 years Childminder and Nanny experience (from toddlers to teens)
*Ofsted Registered (age 8 years plus)
7 years Parent Governor experience at our local primary school and current Governing Board Member in local secondary school since 2021
I enjoy reading with children and igniting the life long love of reading and learning in them. I was a Reading Volunteer at our local primary school from 2018 to 2025
My early memories of my childhood are those of my Mum reading All Creatures Great and Small to me before bed. Later, when I grew up I would burry myself in piles of books at home, when I visited my Grandparenrs and went to the Library (my happy place).

Introduction to Grievance Procedures Understanding Part 1 of Keeping Children Safe in Education
I believe it is important to set a daily routine with stimulating activities, as well as expanding children's culture capital. We head to playground after school daily, read after dinner, complete homework, do spellings and Rockstars Times Table. Afterwards, we do some fun activities, like planting seeds and flowers or watering them, baking (sausage rolls and apple crumble with custard or apple turnovers being our favourite recipes), crafts (normally mermaids, unicorns, pirates or monsters).
Healthy freshly prepared meals are a must. I always have veggie sticks in my bag to offer to the hungry munchkins after school.
If all tasks on the To Do List have been ticked, we have regular pizza dinner treats at Franca Manca and occasional reward trips to Hamleys or Smiggles.
Last, but not least, we love our visits to Science, Design and Natural History Museums, Holland Park/Kyoto Gardens and local playgrounds.
My biggest achievement in life is being a Mum to 3 wonderful kids (Julie Grace 18, Mia 15 and Kai 12)

We couldn't have asked for a better nanny than Helen. She joined our family when our boys were just 4 and 6, and over the past two years she has become such an important part of their lives.
Helen is incredibly kind, calm and seemingly endlessly patient, creating a home environment where the boys feel safe, happy and encouraged to explore. She has a wonderful way of making learning fun, whether that's through imaginative art projects, painting, poster-making or introducing them to new foods with her famous "Bush Tucker Trials"—which have become a family favourite!
She is also a fantastic cook and has helped broaden the boys' tastes enormously. One of the things we have appreciated most is the support she has given them with their reading. She has nurtured both their confidence and enthusiasm for books, and we've seen such wonderful progress over the past two years.
Helen is reliable, thoughtful, creative and genuinely invested in our boys' development. She has cared for them as though they were her own, and we have always had complete confidence that they were not only safe, but happy, stimulated and loved while in her care.
Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have Helen. We recommend her wholeheartedly and without hesitation.

Our family is visiting in London for the summer and my wife and I wanted to go out for dinner without the kids for one night. We found Helen and she was amazing. Kept our 3 kids well entertained (without devices) and in bed before we got home. All before 9pm. Helen came prepared, ask about our kids before coming and brought arts and crafts bits to keep them focused on a task and curious. Helen is very friendly and has a very motherly demeanor. She is calm and exerts a peaceful energy. Our kids are already asking if she can come back to help again before we leave for the summer. Needless to say, we will ask for Helen if and whenever she is available. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a short-term or last minute nanny.
