About Me

Hi, We are Tom and Christina. New to the Dronfield area but familiar with the wider surroundings having lived in Greenhill for 3 years and Sheffield Centre since 2020. We both work at the University of Sheffield and our day to day routine is Monday till Friday 9/5 work with our two children Maya (4 years old) and Matthew (1 year old) with a Childminder/Preschool. We are grateful to have many good friends in the local area but unfortunately our closest relatives are in London so very few opportunities to enjoy an evening outside the house as a couple (i.e. date nights). Both Maya and Matthew are a joy to be around. Maya can have her moments of defiance (what 4 year old doesn’t) but is well mannered, trained to dress herself and goto the toilet without support aside from poos where she may still need support cleaning properly. Matthew has been described by many as a very chilled out baby! He loves cuddles and attention but also plays well on his own if we’re busy cooking/cleaning etc. If he gets upset he is very quick to claim with love and affection. Both our children are good sleepers particularly in the evenings after being put in bed… ideal for babysitting!! ;)
