NatDevon
Part Time Nanny Job in Ilfracombe
About Me
Hello, my name is Natalie, and I'm Mama to Mia, who is about to turn three. She is a lovely little girl who is super content and happy, and yes, also willful and emotional at times, but mostly she's a dream.
Her favourite things are:
- going to the beach
- getting an ice cream
- climbing on the rocks at the beach too
She loves looking for sea glass, painting, and making things at home. As a family, we try and have as much time outside with her as possible. We read to her lots and give her space for her emotions. We live a pretty healthy lifestyle, and we minimize screens and maximize connection.
My Requirements
We are looking for a nanny to help us a few hours a week. It will probably be 7.5 hours. We're flexible on timings, although first thing in the morning isn't ideal for us. We would love to find someone. We've had 2 amazing nannies in the past who have unfortunately had to leave due to the need for full-time hours, which we totally understood. We would love to find another nanny that Mia really clicks with and has a lot of fun with.
We're looking for somebody playful and somebody who really is passionate about child development and giving children a beautiful, nurturing childhood. Ideally, you'll be happy to chase her on the beach and climb over the rocks, as these are her favourite things to do. A level of being active is definitely needed! Mia has not been to nursery, as we felt like she wasn't ready yet, but we're trying to give her as many opportunities as possible to socialise with children. She finds it hard socialising with other children. She's got a couple of little friends, but really she's often quite scared of other kids. We're looking for someone who can be patient and encouraging with her without being pushy and being someone that she can feel safe with and trust.
